Civil Works

  • Trenching and installation of conduits and fibre pathways.
  • Construction of harmonic filter pads and building footings.
  • Form, reinforcement, and placement works for all switchgear foundations.
  • Installation of fencing, gates, signage, and sunroof.

Electrical Works

  • Installation of eight 33kV harmonic filters (10.7 MVar each).
  • Installation of 33kV underground cables and associated switchgear.
  • Installation of the control building and switch room.
  • Secondary systems wiring, SCADA control, and automation.
  • System interface between Transgrid and Grand Solar.
  • Terminations into Transgrid’s Walla Walla Substation.

Commissioning

  • Full testing and commissioning of the substation and systems to achieve operational readiness.
